MiniGuy was a DMV-licensed dealer/broker in California for 12 years, but all cars on this site are “For Sale by Owner.” For details or more info, please contact us. We also assist in having thorough pre-purchase evaluations performed, Escrow services to provide for more-secure funds and title transfers, and door-to-door transport. When considering a car for purchase – including ones on this site, it's prudent to pay for a specialist or your mechanic to check them out, since these will not necessarily have undergone the same scrutiny they would've had before being offered in MiniGuy's former showroom. We also offer "Buyers Agent" services for locating cars, or consulting, or assisting with negotiations or transactions.

$24,5001967 Austin Mini Cooper

UPDATE: Seller reports that it’s GONE, GONE, GONE to a new home!

This legit 1967 Austin Mk1 Mini Cooper has a Heritage Certificate and has been upgraded with a 1275cc engine and Cooper “S” components that include 7.5” Cooper “S” disc brakes, a 120-mph Cooper “S” speedo, a right-hand Cooper “S” (twin) fuel tank, Cooper “S” steel wheels (9-hole vented, with small hubcaps) and front and rear Cooper “S” badging.

BOTTOM LINE: This is a case where it pays to do your homework. Be careful what you buy, you may not be able to drive it in some states, including California.

2019 – UPDATED FOOTNOTE: According to current California ARB guidelines, pre-1968 classic Minis – because of their age – would not be subject to the restrictions that would otherwise apply to direct-import vehicles. (Great news for this legitimate ’67 Mk1 Mini!)
