MiniGuy was a DMV-licensed dealer/broker in California for 12 years, but all cars on this site are “For Sale by Owner.” For details or more info, please contact us. We also assist in having thorough pre-purchase evaluations performed, Escrow services to provide for more-secure funds and title transfers, and door-to-door transport. When considering a car for purchase – including ones on this site, it's prudent to pay for a specialist or your mechanic to check them out, since these will not necessarily have undergone the same scrutiny they would've had before being offered in MiniGuy's former showroom. We also offer "Buyers Agent" services for locating cars, or consulting, or assisting with negotiations or transactions.

NOTE: We're always seeking classic Minis for these "Consignment / For Sale by Owner" pages. Please use our Vehicle Request Form or contact us at: miniguy@miniguy.com

Sold1967 Austin Mk2 Mini Cooper S w/ 1275cc - Radford conversion

[ Update: was $12k. Still runs and drives, but needs transmission work. Priced for quick sale at $8,000. Almond Green w/ Snowberry White roof. Rare ’67 Mk2 Cooper S. Built Oct. 10, 1967. With Heritage Certificate from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust. Factory left-hand-drive, built for North American export. 1275cc, twin carbs, oil cooler, twin tanks, 7.5″ S brakes. This rare model was upgraded by Radford with the company’s unique roll-up window doors (with wind wings), and custom dash, seats and recessed license plate area in the bootlid. A very rare car. Zero rust. Has California registration documents back to the early 1970’s. We believe it to have been sold new in California, but we’re still researching that. If you know any more history on this unique Mini, or on Radford Minis in general, we’d love to hear from you. The original steel “Cooper” spare wheel and the inside of the trunk are painted a (non-original) metallic dark green. When the car was repainted, including the engine bay, it was restored to its original Almond Green color (as shown on the Heritage Certificate.) We’ll gladly email or fax you a copy of it, if you wish. Under the carpets, the original floors are still the factory Almond Green paint. No rust there, or any evidence of rust repairs. The fenders are original, but the front panel has been replaced (with an early Mk1 one) – and the diagonal brace behind the grill (near the oil cooler) that came on the Cooper S’s has been placed a little farther over than it would have been from the factory. We have a lot more notes from our inspection when you call… Here are links to more pics, including LOTS of closeups: More pics – page 2 of 5 More pics – page 3 of 5 More pics – page 4 of 5 More pics – page 5 of 5 Priced for a VERY quick sale at $12,000. [ Update: was $12k. Still runs and drives, but needs transmission work. Priced for quick sale at $8,000.
