$1,5001961 Austin Mini

UPDATE: Asking $1,500!

Note: There are quite a few more parts that aren’t shown in these pics!

This 1961 Austin Mini was a complete car when disassembled about 10 years ago. Parts are stored in plastic storage bins with lids. The rear (bare) subframe was tossed, but has all the suspension and brake bits for that. Also binned was the original LH fuel tank. The right wing has been removed, but it’s still included.

Has three engines with it, a 1275cc that apparently has a cracked transmission case, and it comes with two 850cc engines. The 1275cc appears to be a later model (perhaps from an Austin America donor car), because at least the head has smog ports on it (which one would typically plug).

Currently sits on a cut-down shopping cart, so you can pull it around with a rope for loading it up.

Note: If you don’t know how to weld things like the rotten boot floor, you might want to pass this one up… Uh, unless you have a really good friend who can weld for nothing…

Please note that many of the pics are from back awhile, and some are recent. More recent pics available soon.

Located in San Pablo, CA 94806 (ie: North of Berkeley in the East San Francisco Bay area).

Asking $1,500.
