1972 Mk 3 Mini Cooper 1275 “S” (Clone). 1293cc engine, 940 cylinder head with Isky no-bind valve springs, 649 cam, HIF6 SU carb with torque ram , K& N filter, & Torquemaster inlet. LCB exhaust, adjustable oil pressure valve, 13-row oil cooler, with oilstat and oil temp. takeoff, Super 2-core radiator, center oil pickup. Pertronics Ignitor ignition, 40,000 volt coil, and 8mm wires.

Fully adjustable suspension, KYB Gas Shocks, 7.5″ disk brakes in front, MiniFins in the rear. 10×5 Exacton wheels & Yoko A008 tires. 4-synchro gearbox, 3.0:1 differential.

Custom dash with 9 instruments & stereo., high-ratio “quickshift”, Bilover “Paddy Hopkirk” seats, 4-point rollbar, 4-point harness, Motolita wheel.

Jim won ’87 & ’88 Solo Edmonton Championship in class AAA (race prepared) scoring several FTD’s in the process.
