This very nice 1970 VW convertible has recently been restored and fitted with a rebuilt 1650cc engine, with fewer than 500 miles since.
Bright blue metallic paintwork finished 1.5 years ago; still looks fresh and new. Had zero rust; floor pans treated with POR 15 for protection.
Alloys are polished Centerlines, with new tires.
Convertible top is new, and upgraded with “rot-proof” bows to replace the original wood type. New headliner and pads. New interior, including seats, door panels and dash.
Pretty much all engine-related components are new, including dual carbs, generator, fuel tank and muffler.
All suspension is new, and, for a lower stance, it’s fitted with 2″ dropped front spindles. New shocks, steering arm, ball joints and tie rods. New brakes all around, including drums, shoes and master and wheel cylinders.
New bumpers, side mirrors and lights all around. All rubber components, seals and weatherstripping are new. Custom touch is shaved turn signals in front; now located in chrome bumper.
California title and current registration. Personalized California plates (“BUGN 70″) are included. Needless to say, this car has always been garaged.
Needs nothing but a driver!
