Rebodied Mini Cooper w/ twin carbs, "S" disc brakes
This Mini Cooper was "rebodied" with another period (Mk1) body shell when the other shell became too rusty to repair economically. Has the 120-mph "Cooper S" speedo, and disc brakes, steel Cooper wheels (with round vent holes for disc-brake cooling), and other Cooper bits on it. Exterior is dark British Racing Green with a white roof, and the interior is light green (ie: porcelein green) vinyl. It's the highly-desireable Australian model that has the roll-up-window, external-hinge doors with "wind wings", or "quarter lights" as they are called overseas. The "OZ" roll-up doors also have the Cooper-style chrome around the door frames. Has the classic "moustache" grille, small oval taillights, and the nerf/corner bars and overriders on the front and rear bumpers. Runs great, drives great! Even has a recent "Warrant of Fitness" (ie: a stringent safety inspection). Has a 998cc (Cooper? - need to verify) engine fitted with an 1100cc head, and twin SU carbs.
