Buy a Mini, Buy a Motorhome! [in Fairfax, VA]
This shortened Mini is available as part of an awesome conversion of a commercial GMC highway bus.
NOTE: Only if that bus sells, and if the new owner elects to let this Mini go separately to a new home, it will likely have a $7,500 asking price.
The shorty Mini rolls out of the cargo section on ramps, using a winch and a digital remote. Then, it's ready to go!
Formerly 10-feet long, it now meases a scant 89" in length (versus 120"), thus enabling it to fit crosswise in the bus' cargo bay. Reportedly, it loads/unloads in about 5 minutes.
* Fully registerable as a car. (Currently registered in Florida; Virginia title available).
* Can reach highway speeds
* New tires; replaced steel wheels, new baby moon hubcaps
* New battery, generator, thermostat
* Huge "Ahh-ooh-gah" horn
* Removable windshield
* Removable sport steering wheel
Loading system:
* Steel ramps and pipe guides (ie: like in a car wash) to load and position Mini precisely.
* Winch and cable with wireless remote to pull Mini in and out of cargo bay.
More details on the bus may be found on our "Consignments Too" page. (See tab "B" at the top of the classic Mini page.
