BRG Sportspack Mini [in Denver, Colo.]
UPDATE: Seller reports it's GONE, GONE, GONE to it's new home!
Update: Additional pics and details from an "inch-by-inch" inspection just posted.
This is an exceptionally clean Mini!
However, If you don't like getting smiles, waves and thumbs-ups wherever you go - and don't want to deal with trying to wipe the silly grin off your face whenever you get where you are going - then we do not suggest you adopt this classic Mini!
Classic colors are British Racing Green (BRG) with white roof and bonnet stripes. Left-hand-drive (LHD) steering. Paint looks excellent. Always garaged.
1275cc w/ 4-speed, 4-synchro "rod shift" (smoother-shifting, stronger) transmission. Fuel injection. Disc brakes. Sportspack 13" alloys and wheel arches (ie: flares). Odometer reads in kilometers: 42,263 (x .62 = approx. 26,200 miles); appears to be original.
Full wood dash w/ factory tachometer. Wood shift knob. Twin dash vents. Stereo system. Gray cloth interior in excellent condition with no stains or tears.
Runs great, drives great.
Current minor issues: (please keep in mind it's not a new car!) Fuel gauge works intermittently; repair pending. Wheel arches on left side have small sections with flex cracks in the paint finish; very difficult to see and won't show up in these pics. Small section of surface rust just inside bootlid, on the boot floor right where it meets the back panel; (see pic). It can't really be seen in the pics, but the left side "A" panel has what appear to be two tiny rust blisters forming, (which are smaller than the diameter of pencil eraser); they might just be paint drips. (The "A" panel is the triangular shaped panel that's just in front of the door, and behind the front wheel arch).
That said, it pretty much needs nothing but a driver!
According to seller, it's titled as 1974 Austin (but it appears to have a significant number of mid-'90s parts, including fuel injection).
Clear Colorado title and current registration.
Located in Littleton, Colorado 80128. (ie: about 10 miles SW of Denver).
[ ID# BRGDENV1 ] Asking $14k.
